We are delighted to welcome Prof. Nico Orlandi (University of California Santa Cruz) from April to September as part of the DAAD funded International Guest Professorship "Philosophy of Cognitive Science"! 

In the Summer term 2026, Nico Orlandi will offer three seminars on Concepts, on Conceptual Engineering and on Mental Representations, primarily addressing students in our MA Study Programmes in Philosophie and Cognitive Science.

Research-oriented Teaching
Prof. Tobias Schlicht and Dr. Starzak will offer seminars in English in the context of research-oriented teaching, directed at Bachelor- and Master-Students. These are seminar on L.A. Pauls Book "Transformative Experience", on David Chalmers' book The Conscious Mind and on Gualtiero Piccinini's publications on the Computational Theory of Mind. All seminars include an accompanying workshop with the Authors and further renowned international experts. Further Information is here.
