Educational Psychology examines principles and conditions of learning in different domains and settings. By these means, Educational Psychology aims at gaining a better understanding of learning mechanisms and also allows to derive implications for educational practice. Hence, Educational Psychology serves as a link between experimental and application-oriented research. In our research group, we investigate cognitive, motivational, and social aspects of learning by employing experimental research methods in laboratory and field studies.
