Junior Professor for Ethics of Digital Methods and Technologies

The research efforts at the Chair for Ethics of Digital Methods and Technologies (EDMT) address socio-political questions of technological change. From a perspective of social ethics, the ever extending use of digital technologies raises particular challenges. The goal of the reaseach at the Chair for EDMT is to enable a deeper comprehension of the opportunities and risks connected to processes of digitalization and to prospectively understand potential normative conflicts. This is meant to allow an ethical orientation of individual and societal use of digital technologies and to identify potentials for shaping technological change.

Current information about Corona:

Here, you find news about (potential) current restrictions regarding the Covid-19-pandemic. Since we combine home office policies with on-campus work, we still can best be reached by email.
