Ethics - Economics, Law, and Politics

The MA EELP is an international and interdisciplinary Matster's degree program taught at Ruhr-University Bochum. From 2012 on there has annually been an internationally mixed group of 20 particularly qualified students starting this two-year degree course.

The students are supposed to not only discern the urgent problems and tasks of our time but at the same time to analyze them technically and to reflect on them normatively.
Our association aims at providing the means needed for the organization and coordination of the program. We want to improve the quality of the teachings and we financially support relevant workshops and events, like:

  • annual EELP Welcome-Evening for the new students
  • annual EELP Career-Day
Seminar Papers of MA EELP Students

Here we present  papers written in the context of MA EELP courses of the participating disciplines:

  • Afra Otto: Overcoming Salience Bias: How Real-Time Feedback Fosters Resource Conversation - A Critical Discussion (download pdf)
  • Alexandra Witzel: An Ethical Analysis of the European (and Particularly the German) Implementation of the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights Regarding Climate Change Commitments for Multinational Companies (download pdf)
