Economic and Climate Ethics

The global economy and man-made climate change raise a number of difficult ethical issues which reach from the problem of global poverty to financial market risks to the pressing challenge rebuilding our energy and transport systems.

To deal with these problems appropriately, it is necessary to combine and normatively reflect on analyses from different scientific disciplines.

Our association promotes such interdisciplinary approaches in research and teaching.
