Description

The digitalisation of schools and teaching has been on the increase since the Corona pandemic at the latest. This has thrown a spotlight on the challenges that students face in the context of self-regulated learning and has made it clear what curricular work should still be done in schools in the European education system in this area.

The project "SeReLiDiS" is dedicated to these topics. In an international and interdisciplinary network of educational researchers and educational practice partners, a scientifically sound and application-oriented framework for promoting the assessment and self-regulation competence of pupils in digitalised teaching/learning settings is being developed. The project connects European research partners from the:

Erasmus University Rotterdam
Maastricht University
University of Oulu
Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz
Vrije Universiteit Brüssel
Radboud University Nijmegen
Universidad de Deusto
Universidad de Valencia

Further regional collaborations exist with the Bochum and Herne Education Offices.

The developed framework for the promotion of assessment and self-regulation competence will be the theoretical basis for an agenda of international collaborative research. On the other hand, options for action for educational practice in schools can be derived from it. In this way, the framework forms a basis for the design of technology pedagogical developments and thus makes a decisive contribution to quality in education.
