Bei dieser Veranstaltung handelt es sich um ein Forschungsseminar im Rahmen von "Philosophie International“.


The language of this seminar is English. The seminar consists of two parts. The first part is a one-week series of lectures presented by Prof. Piotr Łukowski from the University of Łodz (Poland). The presentations are based on chapters from Prof.Łukowski’s recent book Paradoxes (Springer-Verlag, 2011). The second part consists of a number of additional meetings with presentations by students on selected paradoxes. The topics for the second part will include the Liar Paradox and the Knowability Paradox, but students may also suggest topics for presentations themselves.
