What is the Student Council (Fachschaft)?
As soon as a person starts studying on a degree programme, they are part of the Student Council for the duration of their studies.
For example, a person who is studying for a degree in Educational Science automatically becomes a member of the Student Council for Educational Science and a person studying for a degree in teaching with the subjects Mathematics and Educational Science becomes a member of both the Student Council for Mathematics and the Student Council for Educational Science.
In principle, this means that all students in a subject area make up the Student Council .
