Get involved – here’s how!

Every semester, the new FSR is elected at the general assembly (VV). The new FSR remains in office until the next VV. The tasks are then distributed at the VV. All students of Educational Science are eligible to vote, i.e. as an EW student you can simply come to the VV and make use of your right to vote – without putting yourself forward as a candidate.

Important: Being a member of the FSR is an honorary position. It is neither paid nor does it have official advantages. Potentially anyone can join the FSR as long as they are willing to actively commit to a representative role. It is not a problem if new members find out that the role is not for them after all, as long as you let the FSR know that you don’t wish to continue. So just give it a try! Contact us! A general assembly meeting usually involves the following procedure:

3. Report of the FSR
4. Financial report
5. Discharge of the current treasurer
6. Discharge of thecurrent FSR
7. Election of the new FSR (via list)
8. New election of the new treasurer
9. Distribution of offices
10. Miscellaneous

We advise every first-year student to participate in a VV at least once and we look forward to seeing every one of you. In addition to the VV you will learn more about our work and see how we represent you students. And if you would like to join the Student Council and stand up for the students on your degree programme, clarify questions and help, then come to the general assembly!
