Recruitment to the Vorbereitungsdienst is offered annually on May 1 and November 1. Pursuant to Section 5 (1) OVP 2011, recruitment is offered on May 1 of each year; the second date remains optional. Assuming that two recruitment dates are offered each year, the dates for applications will then be in the preceding winter and summer. The deadline for submitting these application dates to the District will be no later than mid-April for the May 1 hiring date and no later than mid-October for the November 1 hiring date. For information on the hiring dates and deadlines, please also refer to the homepage of the Ministry of Education.
Important general note: For teaching positions for which an admission restriction has been set by the Ministry of Education, the time between the application deadline and the late submission deadline is shortened. Since the Ministry of Education has occasionally used the instrument of admission restriction in the past, this should be taken into account for the upcoming recruitment deadlines with regard to your own examination planning.
The Faculty's Academic Examinations Office is entrusted with the operational business (registrations, examination dates, etc.) of examination administration. As soon as the studies in BiWi have been successfully completed, the examination files are forwarded by the Faculty's Academic Examination Office to the Certificate and Admissions Office (ZuZ) in the Professional School of Education, provided that you have initiated the closing of the file. There - after the files of all three subjects have been received - the Master's transcripts are prepared and sent to the graduates.
Please observe the dates set by the Ministry of Education and the regional authorities for entry into the preparatory service.
