Continued approval of BAföG

If you would like to continue to receive the financial support you have already been granted without any gaps, you must prove after the fourth semester that you have completed the required credits within the standard period of study. In the 2-subject model, this proof must be provided for each of your two subjects. In Educational Science, we assume that you have completed more than 40 CP in this case; in detail, these are at least:

• the completion of all basic modules 1 to 5 (a total of 34 CP)
• the successful completion of one of the advanced modules 5 or 6 (equivalent to 6 CP)
• the completed attendance of one module part in advanced module 4

Please note that the so-called BAföG office sets March 31 or September 30 as deadlines for regular completion of the fourth semester; all required credits must have been registered by then. In individual cases, this may also mean that deadlines set by a teacher for the submission of achievements must be missed!
